Just after the nation celebrated Republic Day, another suspected terrorist, which might have links to ISIS, is arrested in Mumbai. The arrest was done from Mumbra suburb near Thane on Saturday. He was brought to Aurangabad court for a trial.

ATS is on an arresting-spree. On Wednesday last week, they arrested seven people and detained a minor for allegedly planning and plotting to carry out a chemical attack within the country. On 22nd January, ATS captured nine people from Mumbra and Aurangabad on suspicion of having ties with ISIS terrorist group.
The suspect is an MBA graduate named Talha alias Abu Bakar Hanif Potrik. He lives in Shil-Daighar in Mumbra. Police seized laptops, hard disks, tablets, pen drives and router from the accused.
The ATS had asked for the police custody till February 14 but the court has sanctioned the closure till February 5.
