Civil Terrorism at YouTube HQ

It hasn’t been a month since USA took on the streets for protesting against the weapons and arms owned by the civilians in the country and again we encountered a handgun incident at the Youtube head office in San Bruno, California. Though the Police officials stated the incident wasn’t aimed for a mass killing , but still the intention for the attack still isn’t clear.

Police frisking at the YouTube HQ after the incident

The suspect is a woman in her 30’s , who opened fire at the Youtube headquarters on tuesday before shooting herself dead ,as the employees haphazardly rampant into the streets of the city. The attack injured three people , who are admitted in the San Francisco General Hospital. All the the victims are middle aged woman and one of them is found in critical condition. A fourth person was taken to the local hospital with an ankle injury because of fleeing from the rampage.

In a recording of a 911 call posted online by the Los Angeles Times, a dispatcher can be heard saying: Shooter. Another party said they spotted someone with a gun. Suspect came from the back patio … Again we have a report of a subject with a gun. They heard seven or eight shots being fired.”

YouTube Chief Executive Susan Wojcicki declined to comment to reporters as she left the building.

Chief Executive Officer of Google , Sundar Pichai , wrote in a letter that was posted on twitter “It’s with great sadness that I tell you – based on the latest information — four people were injured in this horrific act of violence,”. He then added ” I know a lot of you are in short right now. Over the coming days we will continue to provide support to help everyone in our Google family to heal from this unimaginable tragedy.”

In a separate tweet, Mr. Pichai said he and Wojcicki were “focused on supporting our employees & the @YouTube community through this difficult time together.”

President Donald Trump , showing condolences to the victims tweeted  “Our thoughts and prayers are with everybody involved. Thank you to our phenomenal Law Enforcement Officers and First Responders that are currently on the scene.”

Watching the obscenity of the sporadic mass shootings in America , twitter CEO Jack Dorsey tweeted ”We cant keep being reactive to this, thinking and praying it wont happen again at our schools, jobs, or our community spots. Its beyond time to evolve our policies.”
This incident is a serious paradigm of how important it is to stop the American population from carrying arms and weapons like toys and toying with people’s lives. The day isn’t long when the ownership of these weapons will result in a genocide if proper actions aren’t taken against this and mass shooting will become an alias for America.

Last month YouTube announced that it would ban all the offensive videos and content that shows how to assemble a gun or contain any violent content or promotes sales of guns.

It is absurd to note a female mass short, that to at a place like YouTube headquarters. Though the motive behind this isn’t known.
Female mass shooters are rare. A recent Washington Post analysis shows only three out of 150 U.S. shootings with more than four victims since 1966 were done by women. In 2015, a husband and wife killed 14 people in San Bernardino, California.
