Dexterous Pilot Saved Post Malone’s life

The skillfulness and presence of mind of the pilot saved the day. In the last related post, Jon Carmichael, a photographer, recited his experience about how Southwest Airlines helped him capture Great American Eclipse. The pilot took several turns and made rounds in order to get the perfect shot (See This – http://mavericktimes.in/2018/08/22/capturing-great-american-eclipse-from-39000-feet-and-southwest-airlines/ ). In this incident, the pilot saved the celebrity’s life.

A private airplane made an emergency landing at Stewart International Airport in New Windsor, N.Y., on Tuesday afternoon. Two of its front tires blew out at takeoff. The plane was carrying rapper Post Malone and 15 other passengers.

The Gulfstream IV, a luxury twinjet airplane, took off from the small Teterboro airport in New Jersey at 10:50 a.m. bound for the London Luton Airport in England, according to AP. After the take-off,  the pilot quickly realized that two of the plane’s front tires had blown out during takeoff. He then circled above the airport for about half an hour before it was diverted.

Originally, the plane was diverted to Westfield-Barnes Regional Airport in Westfield, Mass. Later, it was diverted a second time to Stewart International Airport where it took off.

The aircraft hovered for 4 hours and 55 mins before it landed.

Post Malone, 23, is one of the most popular young musicians around. He recently earned a Billboard record for having the most simultaneous top 20 Hot 100 hits, surpassing the Beatles and J. Cole, when nine tunes from his No. 1 record “beerbongs & bentleys” hit the charts.
