Stan Lee inspired a generation of artists. His creativity and way to develop a character, keeping in mind the hierarchy shown in Marvel Universe about the power-level was extraordinary. Sketch Artist, Lavshik Bangera, talks about the impact of Stan Lee on him and his works.

Stanley Martin Lieber, a.k.a. Stan Lee was as extraordinary as the characters he created. A super hero in his own right to Marvel fans around the world, Stan had the power to inspire, to entertain, and to connect. Such an inspirational personality. I grew up reading & following Comics & Characters by Stan Lee. Used to refer & redraw his characters for my sketchbooks. Yet still amazed & excited to see new editions of comics online. But just being an artist or a storyteller is not easy, looking around for inspirations, ideas, composition together forms a beautiful piece of the art form.
Stanley introduced many characters into marvel universe. One of my favorite out of these is Peter Parker a.k.a. Spider-Man, whose “self-obsessions with rejection, inadequacy, and loneliness” yet manages to solve his issues & save the world. Stan Lee would keep inspiring me for greater heights. Coincidentally, my favorite quote is from the film Spider-man only. Stan Lee said, “With great power, there must also come … great responsibility!” Aptly quoted; heard by all few listens and hardly anyone follows. R.I.P Stan Lee.
