Elon Musk’s SpaceX made a nebula-like plume of light in the skies. A SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket launched the SAOCOM-1A radar-imaging satellite on Oct. 7, 2018 for Argentina. The rocket created a spectacular plume in the California sky. The people were awestruck by the plume and many referred it as the
The rocket was launched from Vandenberg Air Force Base, about 130 miles northwest of Los Angeles. As the rocket soared, the engine burns left a trail of glowing colours, illuminating the skies in its path.
The nebula-like phenomenon occurred due to smoke, unburned fuel, and condensation of the rocket that took place in the high altitude sunlight after the sunset.
Naturally, the social media was lit up with mesmerising photos.
