Army Chief General To Visit The Valley Today For The First Time

For the first time, Army Chief General Bipin Rawat will be visiting Srinagar on Friday after the abrogation of article 370 in Jammu and Kashmir Valley.

The security situations will be assessed by the General for the preparation of security forces in the Kashmir Valley in the wake of an increase in ceasefire violations. Srinagar is in strict limitation due to the pre-mediated protest.

Satya Pal Malik, the Jammu and Kashmir governor Satya Pal Malik said that there has been no casualties caused to the civilians after the abrogation of Article 370. He states- “We managed to keep things under control during Panchayat elections, Lok Sabha elections and even now. Every Kashmiri life is valuable to us, we don’t want the loss of even a single life. There has been no civilian casualty, only the few who got violent are injured.”

He also informs that the government will be setting up schools and 50 new colleges in the region to facilitate education in the Valley.

Pakistan has been continuously trying to bring down the sanity by internalizing the matter with its neighboring countries. India has clearly made their statement clear that scrapping Article 370 is an internal matter and have also advised Pakistan to accept it.
