The trend of celebrities joining politics isn’t a new buzz. Politics has played an extensive role in the lives of these stars wherein there is always an act of denial from the former. Many, after living in the shadows from their VIP professions come out in the limelight only to serve the nation as one of them says.

Gautam Gambhir

He is one of India’s fourth highest civilian honor awardee cricketer who has consistently been the dearest of the controversy be it with regard to his bold statements against Kejriwal to prove allegations against him or reacting to Shahid Afridi’s remarks. He has always been outspoken when it comes to his genuine opinions on social media. He joins BJP on March 2019 as a candidate from East Delhi.


Isha Kopikar

Bollywood actor Isha Kopikar who has made her Bollywood debut with actor Hrithik Roshan- “Fizza” joins BJP as Head of Women Transport Wing on Sunday in the presence of Nitin Gadkari. She is one of her tweets thanks to the party for welcoming her and states that she looks forward to “serve the nation”.


Jawed Habib

From a famed professional hair specialist to now joining Politics Jawed Habib is all set to go to serve his country. He says “Aaj tak main baalon ka chowkidar tha, aaj mein desh ka chowkidar ban gaya hoon”. It is said that this isn’t Habib’s first political connection. His family has a long history of haircutting and politics, intertwined.
