Israel Can Help Water Availability In Bundelkhand – Says Yogi

Chief Minister of UP Yogi Adityanath took to the crisis of water in Bundelkhand said Israeli help can increase the availability of water in the Bundelkhand region as both have similar geographical conditions.

He said this after a meeting with Israel’s Ambassador to India Ron Malka. He states- “ Israel and Bundelkhand have many geographical similarities. Israel can prove helpful in increasing the availability of water in Bundelkhand. We want to set up a flagship project in Bundelkhand and once this is successful we will replicate this to another part.”

He goes on to discuss various other issues regarding agriculture, food processing, and marketing, defense, drinking water, and irrigation. He further goes on to state – “The visits by Prime minister of Israel and India to each other’s country has further strengthened ties.”

Ron Malka, on the other hand, said India is a strategic partner of Israel and his country wants to establish a fellowship program in Uttar Pradesh. Israel will also extend helping hands in doubling the income of the farmers in India, Mr. Malka said.
