It was May 2017 when Tejas (now the train of Headlines) was expecting its first voyage it was welcomed with a bash by someone on its window with a crack of course which was also equipped by latest technologies and designs. It was flagged off by the Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu on Monday from Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminius (CST) according to ANI’s report.
This time Tejas is not hurt, instead passengers of the train are people falling ill because of the food served to them by the catering in the train, the pantry car operator is contracted by the Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation (IRCTC)
An IRCTC official said, “About 290 passengers were served breakfast. Around 12pm, 3 passengers complained that they were feeling uneasy and felt like vomiting. After couple of hours, more passengers complained of similar symptoms. Whereas it is still a secret whether the food poisoning occurred from veg or non-vegetarian food.
