Uttarakhand finance minister Prakash Pant who was going through treatment at the U.S takes his last breathe today. He was undergoing treatment at the U.S for lung ailment. A three-day mourning has been declared in Uttarakhand and a one-day public holiday on Thursday.
He was unable to attend the campaign for the Lok Sabha election because of his undergoing treatment at a hospital at Rohini in New Delhi in May. According to a report, he almost fainted twice while reading his budget speech in the state assembly.
