Yogi Adityanath Takes Leadership Lessons At IIM

Chief Minister Yogi Aditya Nath on Sunday along with the ministry takes lessons in governance and leadership at the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) in Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh.

It is the first time that a state government, in order to enhance its political leadership, has decided to seek training from one of the country’s best management institutes,” says the Uttar Pradesh government in a statement here.

Chief Minister along with his other ministry takes part in a leadership development program, “Manthan” where it comprises of sessions that were conducted by senior faculty of the business school.

Every incident in life offers an opportunity to learn something. Whenever there in life offers an opportunity to learn, it should be grabbed. Training programs like these will prove beneficial for the state’s holistic development,” says Adityanath.

He further says that his government is taking up an effort to make Uttar Pradesh the best state in the country. He is also taking assistance from IIM to understand governance, management, leadership abilities and public partnership in a better way. He says that “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas” is their primary goal.

People have huge expectations from a political leader. The ‘Manthan’ program will play an important role in fulfilling these expectations,” says IIM-Lucknow Director Archana Shukla. Moreover, she says that Uttar Pradesh is the backbone of the country and that contribution to its development will bring development to the nation.
