‘Photography’ the most simple definition you’ll read would be “Drawing through lights’. This is not as simple as it sounds. It may be for people blessed with understanding of lights, and if you are not no problem. “Nothing is impossible’

Photography is all about the understanding of lights primarily and then the camera, Even if you have a camera and you don’t understand lighting I’m sure its not going to be easy for you. You need to understand light simply by observing how does the light behaves. Just sit by and see the sun rise and sun set will help you with your understanding of light. Be it photo, or video light creates drama, scene, and much more.

Human eye is the best lens ever know in this world. You can learn by observing things under different lighting and situations create different moods. Which a photographer adjusts depending on the requirement. There are 3 types of major lights you should understand to get desired results-

Key light- is the main source of the light used for your subject.

Fill light- is the second light, used to overcome the shadows casted by the object depending on the requirement.

Background light- is the light directly casted on the background simply or bounced through it.
