You don’t always need a long holiday to get out of Warangal for a while. There are several places in and around the district that work well for a one-day or short weekend plan.
Here are five options I would keep on the list.
1. Ramappa

2. Pakhal Lake

3. Bhadrakali Lake
Permalink to “3. Bhadrakali Lake”You don’t have to drive far. Bhadrakali Lake works for a much shorter outing and can be combined with the temple and other Hanamkonda attractions.
4. Warangal Fort
Permalink to “4. Warangal Fort”For a quick history-focused outing, Warangal Fort is hard to beat. You can spend a couple of hours exploring the gateways and the remaining structures without giving up your entire day.
5. A Kakatiya heritage circuit

Which one should you choose?
Permalink to “Which one should you choose?”For architecture, choose Ramappa. For a relaxed nature outing, look at Pakhal. For a short city trip, choose Bhadrakali Lake and the heritage circuit.
Weather and local access can change, so check current information before travelling.
