PUBG is one of most of the popular games in the world, and in India, there were 5 crore downloads of PUBG Mobile, which has been banned. Amid all speculations about the PUBG Mobile India launch, there is good news for gamers in India as PUBG Mobile India is not just a game rather it has been officially registered as a company with the Ministry of Corporate Affairs. PUBG Corporation, the company that owns PUBG, PUBG Mobile, PUBG Mobile India, and PUBG Mobile Lite titles, has set up its Indian subsidiary that is called the same as the game that is launching soon. PUBG India was registered as a company on November 21, 2020, in Bengaluru, Karnataka, with a paid-up capital of Rs 5 lakh and authorized capital of Rs 15 lakh.
PUBG was banned by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology along with 118 Chinese apps in September 2020 due to internal conflict between china and India. When PUBG Mobile had officially announced to make a comeback on November 12, it set the speculation rife on the launch of PUBG Mobile in India.
Before launching the game officially, the PUBG Corporation has opened its PUBG Mobile India pre-registrations process. The pre-registrations for PUBG Mobile in India are now live on the TapTap app. PUBG, however, is yet to reveal the pre-registration process on the PUBG Mobile India website. PUBG Corporation is yet to authenticate the TapTap listing.
Now that PUBG Mobile India is now a registered company, the battle royale PUBG Mobile India game seems closer to its official launch in India. This will be marked with several advertisements, promotions, and the entry of the game on Google Play Store and Apple’s App Store. Of course, government permission is still important and will be needed before the company moves ahead with its plans. Hence there will be no need for you to sideload the game using an APK or other means. Due to the availability of servers for this game will be in compliance with the Indian government’s directives, therefore it doesn’t require any VPN connections.
The company has also confirmed that it will hire over 100 Indian employees. The reason behind this is to highlight the esports ecosystem in the country (India) as well as local game development. Additionally, players will get to interact with the company to increase their presence. PUBG Corporation will go to invest almost 100 million dollars in India to aid the esports scene in India.
