India to build a multipurpose reservoir in Arunachal Pradesh. Amid concerns over a major hydropower project being developed by China on the Brahmaputra river in Tibet, India now plans to develop a multipurpose reservoir in the northeastern state of Arunachal Pradesh.
The Indian Naval force has induced two predatory drones for monitoring the activities of its neighbouring country, China across the Line of Actual Control and can also be used to vigilantly look out the activities in the Indian Ocean. The American firm had helped India procure the drones on lease amid the internal conflicts between India and China.
When India and China are engaged in the military standoff along the northern bank of the Pangong Tso in Ladakh, China has decided to move its army to Finger 8 and also proposed that both the countries should move their armies from the present location to the southern side of the lake.
India is not ready to shift the Line of Actual Control, the Indian armed force is giving a strong and effective response to the People’s Liberation Army due to which in Ladakh they are facing unexpected repercussions, said General Bipin Rawat, Chief of Defence Staff.
